To connect the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M28 to a wireless network, you can:
- Install the printer driver and software from the HP website
- Select Wireless as the connection type when prompted
- On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless button for three seconds
- On your wireless router, press the WPS button
- Wait up to two minutes while the printer automatically establishes a connection to the wireless network
To scan with the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M28, you can:
- Click on the scan icon on your desktop
- Call the HP scanning software
- Choose from scanning shortcuts
- Choose Save as PDF
- Make sure your item type is Document
- The document selection and page size is A4
If you see an error message such as Er/04, Er/05, or Er/06, this indicates a paper obstacle. You can find stuck paper and clean the printer of any stuck paper, or reset the printer if the printer has no stuck paper.
