How to Fix Canon G4000 Printer Error 6000

  • Option 1 : Printer Reset:
    • Disconnect the printer from power and USB cable.
    • Leave it in pause mode for a few minutes.
    • Reinsert the cable, reconnect power, and hold the power button.
    • Click the stop button twice, repeat the process twice, and release the power button.
    • This process resets the printer to resolve the error.
  • Option 2 : Paper Jam Removal:
    • Remove paper tray and check for jammed paper in the rear tray and rollers.
    • If jammed paper is found, remove it and proceed.
    • On the system, select the printer, open printing preferences, go to maintenance, and perform roller cleaning.
    • Ensure the paper feed roller stops rotating during the process.
    • Confirm messages on the screen and click OK to complete the cleaning.
  • Option 3 : Cartridge Cleaning:
    • Switch off the printer and open the front cover.
    • Detach the cartridge and inspect for jammed paper or foreign objects.
